What is the origin of this religion? When/How/Why did it start?
Judaism, one of the oldest religions in the world, it has been around for more than 3000 years.
First religion that only believed in one God. According to the bible, Judaism started off from Abraham, who then passed it down to his son, Isaac who then passed it down to his own son. So with them passing it down for many generations, it then evolved to become the religion JUDAISM!
What are the main rituals or practices of this religion?
They start praying very young, at night, morning. When they reach the age of 13 they have a party to celibrate adult hood. Many presents and money are given out at this celibration, and fun times are not hard to come by! They also have to get circumsised as soon as they're born. Passover most important part of the Jewish calendar, they eat and pray.

The Torah, it contains important stories, events and teachings, is also very similar to the Bible.

The Masada (a hill) is important because King Herod built a great palace on top of the Masada and after he died the Romans took over and then a civil war was started against the Romans. Eventually they got their Masada back and today it's an important place for tourists and a pilgrim for Jews.

The star of David known as Magen David Adom recalls the great Jewish lead King David of how he lead the nation in the 10 Century BCE. There's also the Chai symbol which many Jews wear on jewellery, the symbol refers to the idea of a living God and is also two Hebrew letters joined up.
